yellow dash light

The yellow dash light stays on all the time. I do show a charge however. What do I need to do to correct the light issue? It's a 1959 TR3.
Thanks

The yellow dash light is the turn signal indicator. The red light is indicates charging.

Check your bulbs, flasher connections and grounds.

Was the flasher unit changed just before the problem showed up ?
Might be it's an incorrect unit, as I've occasionally found the wrong one listed for a TR2-4 and the light staying on is one of the symptoms of the wrong unit.

The yellow one is the flasher, but to make sure they were not hooked up wrong (as in reversed), confirm the red one turns on when the ignition key is in the on position but the engine is not started. Conversely, confirm that the red one does not flash when you use the turn signals. If the red one flashed when you use the turn signals then you need to reverse the two then figure out why your ignition light is staying on, and it is probably, either a very loose fan belt, a poorly set voltage regulator, or a defective generator.
