Update - -I'm going to rebuild my 4.2L Jaguar engine that swallowed a valve. It dosn't have a head but I have 2 extra engines and will use parts off the worst one. I'm going to take the head to the machine shop this week. The Toyota I'm driving until the XKE is running. THANK YOU for talking me out of the Lump.

Wise decision, I was going to donate a 998 mini engine and transmission - hehehe.
 
LATEST UP-DATE I sold the XKE + extra 2 engines. I bought a 93 XJS convert, Brit-Race-Green. I just pulled the starter because it was making a grinding sound. The car need other work which I will get to.

I think you'll be happier with that in the long run than the conversion.
