For some reason, there have been a number of "neo-classical" kit cars based on the notion of using the doors/cowl/windshield/etc from a Spridget.
There is one of these creations for sale near me.
Even if they appear well-crafted, they look hideous to me.

I have to admit that I rather like the first one Nial, except that I can't help looking at the middle of it and knowing where it comes from ruin's it for me.
The art-decco design on some of the finer 30's cars is extremely attractive to me.
I can understand the dilemma of a would be car manufacturer in finding a suitable windshield/cabin arrangement without breaking the bank.
Having a curved windshield made to your spec's didn't use to be such a big deal but now is nearly impossible. Only big companies doing it now and they won't even talk to a small manufacturer.

JP, I expected to see the Midget go down the drag strip in the video. But sadly, it just shows the car idling by. What is the point in a V8 midget hopped up like a Baja buggy?
