Well, that's why I said "one flavor or another"!But I also realize that lots of folks over the years have "regressed" to points distributors in these cars!
 
Well the new condenser didn't work and fuel is getting to the carb. Took the fuel line off earlier when I tried fresh fuel after i tried a different coil. Do I guess tomorrow I will take is to top dead center and see if the timing is off.
 
Just because the fuel is to the carb don't mean it is getting to the intake as Skip eluded to.
What do the plugs smell like?
 
ok checked the timing and it is right at 10 degrees BTDC which is correct for the static timing i am 99% sure. also made sure all the valves were moving and that is also a yes. The spark plugs don't seem to be covered in gas. so fuel issue? but if it is a fuel issue i would still think that it would run off of some starting fluid?
 
Modern starting fluid doesn't work worth beans, IMO. Try some carb cleaner instead.
