WindShield Removal

Yep - windshield went on before anything was interfering with getting to bolts....but, it still took 2 men & a boy to fit the weatherstripping & pull the assembly down so the bolts would match-up.

Years ago I was shopping at several glass companies about replacing the windhsield in my Spitfire. Most of the shops said they don't touch no MGs!!! I took several visits before I could convince one that this was not an MG and it was no harder that roping in the back window of an old VW. It ended up costing $165 and it is Safelite glass. They had to call in an old worker that did not there work any longer because he had a little "drinking problem". The sales lady that worked there quit right after that so I bet I can't get that sweet price any more.
