Anyone ever see one of these? Are they worth anything or should I just scrap it. I should have got a better picture there is even a wiper blade mounted on cowl with a cable to operate it.

That is an original aeroscreen - early cars came with mounting holes for them.

Do not scrap it, definitely worth $omething to $omeone.

The usual vendors sell a 'Brooklands' version that can be added to cars but the STC factory version is rarer and more desirable.

Thanks, Sorta odd to have windshield and this. Nice heavy glass but cracked. Was wiper part of it to or something someone added?

Never saw one with a wiper - that is strange.

I believe the design was such that you could even install the windscreen with the aeroscreens still in place.

Hi , dose any one know the size and thread for the holding down bolts / my body has the captive nuts and holes still in place , once i had removed th filler / bondo

On the TR2 they were very specialized chromed bronze bolts with a domed hex head on them...and not a standard thread. I don't know it that changed later or not.

Yeah you should mail that out to me. It will help your Karma. Better to give. I saw an original sell on evilbay maybe 5 years ago, and I think for 1,100 bucks—but it was Like NOS nice and there were both sides.

I am going to sell as its not for me. Trying to do so research since it does have some value. It does have a crack in glass which will hurt value I know.

Well, it is a bit rough but I think you have the most valuable bits... the lower frame and the 2 mounts.

That little wiper is a hoot. I had occasion to drive mine in a downpour with just an Aeroscreen in place - not sure that a wiper would have been of any use.

The wiper is not really connected, is it? It looks like it is just laying sideways, unconnected to the aero screen. Tony, no, I don’t have a source. I could not find originals, so had mine re-chromed. I think if you order from the big 3 they send a domed philips head bolt.

No wiper was mounted on cowl like windsheild wiper are. Had a cable and a spring to manually work wiper..........
