Who uses their ammeter?

Once you change the glass face to convex it matches the original gauges very well.
I'm having a hard time picturing that ... any chance you could post a photo?
 
Below is an image of the instrument cluster.

I replaced the TR3 amp meter with a TR6 volt meter.
The instrument glass on a TR6 is flat and the TR3A is convex.

With a little fiddling I was able to swith to the curved glass face.
I think it more useful than the bouncy amp guage and esthetically pleasing.
