TR2/3/3A Where to place the switch for the windshield washer & bottle

Never had one of these in my car before. I've seen the switch/pump mounted where the overdrive switch goes and now that I have an overdrive that spot is taken up. So I purchased one of those TUDER bottles and have an electric pump I'm going to mount under the dash somewhere but my biggest dilemma is where to put the switch and bottle. In 1980 I had the dash recovered and on the right bottom side of the gauges the PO had a cigarette lighter installed and that hole is covered up. The other corner is open. So looking for some ideas where to place them.

Many cars had it over by the corner of the cubby box. You can see the empty hole in this shot of TS39781LO

But it was apparently usually a dealer-installed item, so they might have put it anywhere.

FWIW, here's an updated link to TeriAnn's photo of the same location

Bottle on the left side wheel well, forward of the windshield wiper motor. I don't have the bottle or holder but screw holes are there where it was mounted at one time. Friend has the bottle holder but no bottle and that's where it's mounted. Hope this helps.

Ditto

I've seen pics where they were mounted next to the battery on the driver side. I guess this is not correct.

Less common, perhaps, but I don't think you should call it "not correct". The kid at the dealer might have put it almost anywhere!
