FWIW, I found that the driveshaft bolts would always work loose on my TR3A, even with new Nyloc nuts and bolts. Switching to 'Stover' nuts (which in effect use a metal locking area instead of nylon) solved the problem permanently.
I bought a whole box of them from MMC https://www.mcmaster.com/#
But they have turned out handy in other places too (like the rear shock mounting bolts), so I think it was a worthwhile investment.
MMC has apparently quit carrying the conical top nuts (which is what I got), but I believe they are still available from other fastener suppliers, like Fastenal & Grainger. Looks like Fastenal will even sell them by the piece (although I would still get the box) https://www.fastenal.com/product/fa...F8+fine&isExpanded=true&productFamilyId=26217
