Guys, I really am torn. I've always wanted a TR6 and found a really solid one owner '71 that's been in storage 28 years. It's all there, albeit needing a complete restoration. With my new job I can fund a build, but I don't have time because I'm always working. I work on stuff all week long and the last thing I want to do with what little time I have off is pull wrenches.
I can work as much overtime as I want, so I was thinking instead of restoring it, just work overtime instead and buy one done.
If I did build it, I'm unsure of which way to go. Part of me says aluminum headed 302/ 5speed, BMW E36 M3 w/ six speed and part says keep it stock. I'd need to build a better shop before I did anything too.
I know what the answer should be, but I really hate to let it go. I don't need the money and it isn't eating anything where it's at.....and I FINALLY got one !!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!
