Do the carbs get hot enough (after the engine is shut down, obviously) to warrant silver-soldering them?

You have a picture of the other side of the engine? I wanna see the EGR valves and how they're hooked up between the Intake and Exhaust manifolds.PAUL161 said:I have the EGR valves in my HIFs along with the full complement of EGR equipment the car came with in 72, pump, gulp valve and all, and I couldn't ask for it to run any better. Lots of pep, no bucking, jerking and will run 70 MPH all day long and I get great gas mileage.
