TR4/4A What is "Too Tall" for a TR4?

Consider also the TR6 has the ignition switch right at knee level. It can get in the way not to mention annoying you with keys hitting against your leg. My car had a transplanted TR6 column when I purchased it. I left it in for a very short while then put it back in the dash.
 
The only key I have in my TR6 ignition switch is the one to start the engine
I'm 6 foot tall, 250 lbs and don't have a problem with the location. It's not in the way of my knees. I wouldn't change it.
