What are you listening too?

Lately I've been listening to :
(I've heard the term electric blues or edged blues.)
Peter Green
Gov't Mule
Joe Bonamassa
Paul Rodgers

really, I can only take so much of the blues at one time.

but the spotlight guitar work is incredible.

I have a DVD of Joe Bonamassa playing Royal Albert Hall. One one of the tunes, Eric Clapton walks our and plays along with him. Good stuff!

Can't stand *rap myself. Unfortunately it's about all my son listens to. Sometime wonder what I was thinking buying him a hifi for Christmas a few years ago!

I have a fairly large music collection mainly 60s an 70s stuff an some classical but I can't even persuade him to try some of it.

He'll most likely come around, Steve; they usually do. My son was the same way. He used to come home from high school and say, "Dad, I heard the greatest song and downloaded it on my iPod - listen..."

And I'd say, "Oh, yeah - that's 'Crossroads', by Cream (or whatever), and you're welcome - MY MUSIC!"

He hated that...

But he won't abandon what he likes now.

Give Black Eyed Peas a listen Steve.

Chicken shack
w/Stan Webb & Christine Perfect.
(Can you place Christine, without GOOGLE help?)

Mrs McVie!

Listening to 'The Crazy World of Arthur Brown' today.

keyrect!
Christine Perfect McVie hit the career afterburners with Fleetwood Mac, while Stan Webb was left with the chickenshack.

But that's taking nothing away from Mr. Webb, as he was great in his own right.

This morning - Rush, Exit Stage Left album. I'm currently on a train to Bangkok :cool-new:
