I don't have problems with Moss...they do a pretty good job of quality control but it's impossible to check every individual item on the warehouse shelf....when I do have a problem, they correct it immediately - & when I ask if there's a known quality history on a particular item, they tell me.
With as many items as both Moss & VB stock, we have to tell them where there are problems.....an example: I recently ordered wheel cylinders for an MGB - they came in & 1 box had the correct item & the other didn't...I called Moss, they checked their stock & found several boxes that had the wrong cylinder from the supplier...now that they've found the issue, they'll correct it...but we can't expect them to open every box that comes into the warehouse door & their percentage inspection might not identify the problem.
Rather than give up on the guys who are trying to support our hobby, I try to work with them helping to improve our parts supply!
