I hope this helps some of you. I've seen in some recent posts that some of you are less than confident with your welding skills. If your using a 110 volt mig, you should be running .023 wire with a 75/25 argon co2 mix.If your using flux core (inner shield) your weld will be sufficient but not nearly as pretty as with gas.assuming its .030 or .035 wire. For those using a 220 volt welder its okay to use a heavier wire such as .030 or .035, but again use a 75/25 argon co2 mix. Wire speed and heat are the key factors in the way the weld will look, if you lift the door on the wire side of the machine it will guide you in what gauge, speed and heat you should set your macine at.For 110 users make sure your on a dedicated 20 amp circuit. If anyone has any questions feel free to PM me. hope this helps.
