We are doomed

Throw-em in the blender and make catsup :jester:

Awwwww......that was purrrrrrfect....

We had a Maine Coon that was a Hemingway; i.e. he had double paws, giving him an opposible thumb.

It was O.K. except for the telephone bill; he kept making long distance calls...

To Hemingway (very long distance)

No kidding, I had a cat that I caught one time with both paws on the door knob to our front door furiously trying to turn it.
I guess he had seen us do it so often to let him outside in the morning that he knew that was what you did to open the door he just couldn't get a good grip on the door knob.

All our cats have routinely attempted to reach/operate doorknobs. I'd never install the lever style ones for just that reason. Clever, them kitties.

My mom's cat COULD open doors.
Though it was not normal cat
29 lbs. and no fat on it

Our cat (long since gone) didn't open doors. But our front door has a brick ledge at waist height. She would jump up onto that and press the doorbell button to get in. You're right Doc, clever kitties.

My cat has figured out sliding doors. He would constantly pry open (or try to pry open) a pocket door to an area of the house where construction was going on. He managed to find his way outside a couple of times, and then realized that he was out of his element...

I've also had the wonderful experience of having that little buggar lock me out. I went outside for something, and upon returning, I noticed he was at the sliding glass door standing on his hinds looking at the locking mechanism. When he noticed me he coming, he quickly sat down as if to act like nothing was going on. When I attempted to pull the glass door open, I found it was locked :| Good thing I had my keys in my pocket...

Guilty as charged your honour

Cat theology.

Dogs think, my masters love me care for me clean up after me and attend to my every need. They must be gods.
