Waxoyl- How much is enough?

James I am waiting for warmer weather to do the same to my TR4a chassis.
I am using an aerosol product by "Rustchek" which is available as a thin, red oil, or the version I am using which is thin enough to creep when sprayed on but becomes thicker and "goopy" after a couple of hours. I have tested it on my winter wheels on the daily driver and it seems to work well; I am sure something similar is available locally.
Like you I am just using this inside the chassis, and plan to spray a clear "stoneguard" to protect the underside of the body, inside wheel wells etc.
Simon.

Moss Motors sells Wax-oyle. I have used it on a Jensen Interceptor and a 100S. The Interceptor had a couple of rust spots, but not at the Waxoyled sills, just a couple of inches away. The application was at least 15 years ago. I need to put some in another car, but the appicator is worn out. Shame to have to buy one from Moss again.
