Bolt circle is the same, even the front hubs are the same. However the studs get shortened when mounting wire wheel adapters, so if you're switching from wire to steel, you need to replace the studs & lug nuts.

I did take a peek in the Books & to my surprise; They did look like the same Bolt Pattern:

PS: I like the look of those TR6 rims as well: The reason I asked this question is simply out of curiosity, Originality & I happen to have a set of 5 real nice disc TR3 rims:
 
My buddy who is a bodyman with his own shop has a TR4 & 6 he has restored to nearly perfect with all the thing you would want. Recently, at an action, he became a Jag owner, hence his 6 has to go. If you want a 6, his is green and you could drive it home. If you are interested, it is a really a nice car. Contact me and I'll give you his phone no. It's in Topeka Ks.

I have TR6 rims on my (now wrecked) TR3A as well. I'm not that crazy about the look, but they are the perfect width and offset for mounting performance tires under the stock fenders. Haven't really decided, but I'm leaning towards aftermarket wheels for the project TR3.
