Seems to wax and wane... VB has supplied me with transmission innards Moss couldn't a decade back, now that situation is reversed. The side trim is currently inferior from BOTH of 'em (ill-fitting due to a too-wide inner channel).

All very strange. And frustrating.

Doc, I had the same trouble with the side trim and solved it by slightly squeezing some of the buttons to egg shape them a little top to bottom and the strips snapped on and stayed. We do what we have to do! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif PJ

Re: Victoria British [Docs quote]

Has anyone considered the customer investment plan from TRF?

Re: Victoria British [Docs quote]

a who? What's a Customer Investment Plan?

I ordered a $30 dollar part from them last Friday just to get a feel for them... They're still an unknown to me. Prices seem competitive with Moss, but Tony has the best prices of all. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

So would you guys trust VB with this list?

Re: Victoria British [Docs quote]

I bought (from VB) a water pump, thermostat, t'stat housing, radiator and all new hoses and tubes and have got a very stable temperature consistently, all is how it should be and I'm happy.
Trust is what you make it, as I've had no problems, I have no reason to mistrust.

Re: Victoria British [Docs quote]

Other than the suspension kit and some major brake parts, looks pretty similar to the list I sent them along with $800 or so to get my car roadworthy after I bought it. But price for price, I shop with tony now.

Re: Victoria British [Docs quote]

Yeah, Paul, that's just what I did as well. A dab of RTV on every other one, too... just fer luck.
