Very happy to see these inner fenders

I would be curious to check the inside of my fenders. How hard is it to remove and replace the outer fender to check this area, assuming the outer paint job is fine and I don't plan to repaint it(the outer)?
 
Don't do it, once off, you will never stop. Also, you will break the paint seal along the cowl and the front valance. Rather then removing the fender, try removing the splash guard located behind the front wheels (5 bolts I believe). Once off, you will be able to see whats going on.

I would NOT have done any of this by choice. It wa sonly because of the accident that mine is apart.

But I do see your point and if I were reading this story about your car in the body shop, I would be curious about the condition of mine as well.
