Not to me but I suppose a seller would cite it as having some value (like a car owned by John Voight).
IMO, early numbers only add significant value when they denote features that are rare (long door TR2s & flat floor XKEs come to mind). Of course early features (like these) were usually dropped because they proved unwise so the cachet may come with some inconvenience as well as a premium price.
I know of no such distinctive features in early TR250s -- indeed it is even hard to appreciate 'early' in the context of a car that was only built for one model year.
