Upgrade to LED Headlights

If the rubber boot blocks airflow to the heat fins, I wouldn't use it. You can really shorten the life of an LED. Killing it in a matter of minutes from overheating.

Thanks Greg--I'm leaving them off.

Yes, most of the vendors offer both neg- and pos-gnd bulbs (and some are non-polarity sensitive).

FWIW, I caught an article somewhere stating that aftermarket LED headlights may not be legal. Sorry, don't have a link, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Yeh...California would not want to make it legal to see where you are going would they ? I have run them for years and never been stopped though.

Hmmm. I did a quick search and found that Massachusetts has banned the use of LED bulbs in cars that did not come with them from the factory UNLESS you install and entire new lens and LED bulbs that have been certified! Who knows if anyone has a system that has been certified?

Hi Michael,
I just saw your Ginetta going through T15 (Sebring) but couldn’t see if it was you behind the wheel!
We’ll walk the pits after lunch to see if we can find you…
