Update on the ELTO Mmystery
Sorry to keep you guys in suspense. As you may have read in my other post, I've been offline most of the week. I decided to start a new thread to finish this up.
Just before my computer went down, I positively identified what my old motor is.
It is a model 624. 1932 ELTO Super "C". a 25 HP 2 cylinder 2-stroke racing motor. Built specifically for the "C" class racing. After talking to my dad, he confirmed this by saying Grampa bought it all set up on a small boat (Not a hydroplane, as I thought) that looked like a sleek rowboat with a small forward deck. Hopefully we have some pictures in the family archive.
Thought I'd tell ya all what I found.
