i was considering getting my rotors turned at Oreillys... $15 for the pair......
my question is..when i pull the rotors are there any easy
changes i should make while things are apart? bearings,seals, etc....
dont wanna get too carried away as there is a show at the local festival this weekend, and id like to be there ; ) .....zimmmmy
 
It is not recommended to turn the rotors. That said normal thickness of a original rotor was .300 to .305", minimum thickness .290". Anything less than .290" and you risk cracking a rotor. Ditto for the drums, 7" is standard, 7 1/16" minimum. Don't turn them or they won't work properly.
 
soooo... i should just change the pads and hoses,
and keep my miles down till i get the rotors?
theyre starting the grind noise, cant drive as is..z
