Sorry for the double post, but I can't delete one without the other.

thanks for all the responses! this has been a very productive read for me! i see that it may end up being a better idea to use the mega squirt, or similar system. the motor in the TVR that i'm looking at is freshly rebuilt, so i'm seeing it as a good candidate. (sorry it's not in the TVR forum, but i was also thinking about a TR6 and there are more people on the triumph part all the time)
i'm not looking for a whole lot of power, just a substantial increase, that i havn't seen come out of my dad's fairly upgraded TR6. (cam, headers, SU's, electroninc ignition, heat shield, manzas).
so i do intend to do it if i get the car, and will surely be asking for plenty of help on here! either this, or a very high performance cam and a triple SU set up! i've been spoiled by mu japanese car lately. i have a N/A 1990 300zx that has 222 at the crank. so if i get rid of this to go all british again, i have to have something to satisfy the addiction!!

thanks again for all the replies!
