Trying to get back working on the 1974 Midget

Got the rear axle installed and the rear shocks. I hope I got them the right way up. I thought I had photos but can't find them.

Looks good and yes, looks correct to me

When I got the car one of the demister tubes was missing along with the 90 degree soft plastic/rubber piece that attaches to the heat plenum. Do any of the usual suspects sell that piece or does it come along with the flex hose?

David

I'm pretty sure I got one from Moss and it does not come with the hose.

Well I am starting on the door reassembly. I did download Norman Kerr's very helpful guide to the job.

The rubber trim for the quarter light that moss supplied seemed too hard and one had a razor cut in it. I had bought them too long ago to try returning them. I got another pair from a company in the UK Brown and Gammons. Their parts seem better than moss. The rubber part fitted in the channel with much less of a fight. I did notice that when I close the quarter light it hangs up at the top and forces the top of the glass out. I am trying some careful trimming.
Second issue is the blocks at the top of the front channel that are too narrow and the dimensions that moss have in their catalogue do not match anything. The one I took out measures 14.3mm on the tang that pushes into the front part of the quarter light frame and the new one 13.4. This is lose. The moss book says the SS 1974 model cars it should be 1/2" or 12.70mm Not sure what to do about that.
Wet sanded the door and will begin the task of putting it back together.
