TR6 Transmission seals

Is there any caution to removing the shafts? I know there are detents in the cover, and I don't want to take the cover too far apart. I am just doing the seals at this time.

John is correct. There are various balls, springs, and rods that act as detents and interlocks. You may have to take it down more than you want to.

There are a few more pictures here that might help: https://bullfire.net/TR6/TR6-24/TR6-24.html

Thanks guys. I did see your whole set of pictures Ed. I also saw the parts drawing online from Moss. I have the workshop manual as well. I will see how that all comes apart.
