TR6 TR6 turn indicator not working

I finally got my windsheild in and took it on my first adventure on the freeway - what a rush! The only downside was my turn indicator is suddenly not working. I checked the bulbs and connections. I had an extra flasher unit on the passenger side that I swapped and still nothing. The emergency flashers work. All the lights, including the brakes. The turn signal switch would not return (wearing out?) before this, but it would at least do the job. Is there a way to test the switch? If so, how do I test it? Is there anything else I could check?
Thanks, Kevin

The turn signal switch correcting arm is made of plastic and wore out shortly after the car left the showroom floor.
The hazard lights work, so your grounds are good at the lights.
Take a test light to find out where the current stops. Start at the switch, work your way through the entire circuit. Check into the flasher and coming back out. When the light stops lighting, you have found your problem area. Follow your wiring diagram to know where the circuit travels.
