TR6 TR6 Gas Pedal

Took delivery of my 1976 TR6 last week. Runs great but I could not get comfortable with how much higher the gas pedal is above the brake. Question for the group, is this normal? If not, is it adjustable?
 
A small bit of adjustment but could limit full throttle unless you also adjust the bolt stop at full peddle. most say seat does not go back far enough or foot is to wide. Drive safe until you get a feel of the car.

My gas pedal, 1973 TR6, is also much higher than the brake pedal. Brake pedal is low, clutch pedal engages high... weird little beast. But it all works fine, and there's really no need to heel and toe, just slow it enough to grab the lower gear without a blip. It did take a few semi-aggressive stops to get some confidence in that low brake pedal.
 
I don't care much about the pedal height above the brake pedal when the engine isn't running..the whole relationship changes when you're driving doesn't it ?
