I just pulled the diff from my TR250 and swapped out the main seal, an observation and a couple questions.
The observation, they were still using leather seals on TR differentials in 1968.
The Question, the original plan was to replace the side pinion seals as well, but in looking at the diff it is clear that all the leaking was from the driveshaft seal, dry around the side pinions.
So I have the parts, I have it off, how hard are they to swap out, doesn't look too bad, but on the other hand I tend to not like to mess with things that "ain't broke"
