TR4/4A TR4 gear shift knob

Larry-

I saw one in England not long ago, and think I may be able to source another possibly. PM me if interested, and let me know what price limit you have. Happy to courier it back for you, it would make it back around end of June if I found one.

Randy

I bought one from Moss a few years ago, noticed now it's NLA. I also see them attached to gearshift levers on ebay once in a while.

ISTR that an early 60s corvette uses the same knob so add this to your ebay search, but check the thread size to be sure.

Hi There Larry;

I have one in My "Glove Box" (Not For Sale): The Dia. of the Knob is so Small; Its a really Strange Feeling driving with It on: To Me, It almost feels as though your going thru the Gears just with the Gearshift Lever & No Knob:

I drive with a Wooden TR Knob & When @ Shows, Just put the Orig. on "For Show, Not for Go"!

What did the TRF Charge Yourself?

Regards, Russ

The black plastic teardrop-shaped gearshift knob with the shift pattern cut in white on the top had a nice, warm feel to the palm of my hand.

Hi Folks;

The Orig Gear Shift knob for a "TR3" is a Teardrop Style with the Shift Pattern in White:

The Orig Gear Shift knob for a "TR4" is about the size of a Golf Ball (Less Dimples, Your Right Tomster)! Its Black with "No Pattern"!

Hey Larry; Which one did you buy for your TR4??

Hope Its Round;

Regards, Russ

My TR3A shift knob is upside-down pear shaped hard molded rubber with a raised gearshift pattern but in black, no white on the pattern. Maybe it wore off?n Supposed to have a chrome locknut but none on my car.

And my 4A knob is about the size of a billiards ball, larger than a golf ball, hard black plastic, unmarked.

Hi There Larry;

I was just driving thru & was curious as to What kind of Gearshift You Rec`d. from TRF??

Regards, Russ
