Sorting out my lighting parts and I find I have 3 one wire parking lamp sockets, and 1 two wire socket.I believe I neeed 4 two wire combo p lamp and directional signal sockets.
Is this correct?
Also I found 2 orange glass lenses. What car would they be for?
Thanks
Tom
For the stock set-up I believe you would have 2-wire sockets for the fron side lamps (parking lights) and turn signals. For the rear, one wire as those were only turn signals.
I have seen amber lenses used for the rear lamps -- possibly Euro-spec cars?
I changed my rear lamps to the 2-wire style so those inboard lights can be wired as both turn signals and brake lights -- giving me 4 brake light across the back. I went with LEDs in those for more flash and brightness.
