Hello. I had British cars when I was a much younger man, a Mini, an MGB and a Triumph Spitfire. Now in my 70s I find myself having custody of a 1959 Triumph TR3a. The car was running 3 years ago, sent off to the body shop for body work and a paint job. The car was disassembled, painted and then partially put together before the person with some skill in these types of cars retired. Then it sat, for a great deal of time, until the owner finally gave up and moved the car (now, not running) to storage and finally to my garage. I've found and repaired a number of issues and hopefully it will run again soon, although part of the disassembly process included cutting most of the wiring. That may slow me down.
Hopefully I can ask alot of dumb questions and learn a great deal from this forum.
thanks,
Bruce
