Did the post 6K TR3A's ever have leather dash, door and rear quarter panel covers,or where these items only vinyl.
thanks
Tom

I'm about to order too. The Moss catalog says leather covers are provided with the trim kit...I'm curious to hear what the old heads say!

I'm thinking that the dash, doors and dog-leg cappings were covered in leather and the three around the rear of the cockpit were vinyl. But goodness knows I could be wrong.

That matches TRF descrition for the capping ,but was wondering more about the dashboard cover, door and rear quarter coverings.
Thanks
Tom

Originally, the TRs left the factory with the standard "Vinylide", unless leather was selected and ordered as an optional extra detail. At that time, only the seat cushions and backs were supplied in leather.

Whe I bought my TR3A brand new in May 1958, it came with red vinyl. But I had no tonneau cover and with the sunshine, it soon went orangy-red. When I did my restoration, the correct red vinyl (original) was no longer available so I ordered the entire interior made in leather. Hides can be dyed any colour you want and that's what I wanted. An interior colour that was like the original and that some parts (like the vinyl) wouldn't fade.

It's still all one colour as it was 21 years ago when I installed it.

Thanks Elliot,
Thats the color combination I am planning on,maybe the darker red.
Your interior looks great, especially the drivers seat after all those miles and years.

On post TS60000 cars back when most were original, I can only recall seeing all three in vynil.

Centre gauge panel of course, was crinkle black on TR3A/B's.

Both TS71909L and TS73524L originally had that exact configuration.
Add my TS73117 to that format. Tom

Not that it makes any difference whatsoever, particularly since I don't own either car any more, but that should have read TS73624L!
