I am working on someones TR3A and the tranny has a dip stick how do I get it out. I can spin it but can't seem to pull it out.

Also I need to change the fluid. Drain is easy but do I need to take the tunnel off to refill it if not on what side is the fill plug and how do you guys get it filled with what gizmos. Or if I can get the dip stick out can I fill from there?

Thanks

ISTR that the dip stick has a cork or rubber stopper that seals it to the tranny. You will have to pry or pull it straight out. Refill is through the dip stick hole using a funnel.

thanks.

The tunnel carpet unsnaps and comes out. You will find a rubber plug to access the dipstick on the tunnel.
