TR2/3/3A TR3 Low oil pressure [again!]

I think I would be having a look at those bearing clearances with some plastiguage
Mainly the main bearings. But .... do the rod bearings as well while you are in there.
Decreases in O.P. due to heat is a pretty good indicator of too much bearing clearance.
A bad filter or even a malfunctioning O.P.R.V. shouldn`t change the O.P. readings very much due to warm up.
Just my honest opinion.
 
Yes I think Kerry makes a good point. You have tried just about everything else. If I remember, you used a different gauge and double check the relief valve. The relief would probably not play a big part in the main pressure problem any, but I would probably try a different one anyway. What else could it be other than bearings?

A bearing that got overlooked? I've not seen a reply to the question about cam bearings; and no one has mentioned the brass bushing that the oil pump shaft rides in. If that bushing is worn out (or missing), it can cause a big oil leak back into the crankcase.

There are also plugs in several locations that might be missing or loose.
