Hi all

I am restoring a TR2 and there is a clip on the outside of the chassis behind the rearmost axle limit strap bolt. I can't work out what it is for. I will need to remove the clip as it now interferes with the axle limit strap but not sure if I need to replace it. I have attached a photo (I hope!).

You can get those fuel line clips at Moss or the big 3 I should say. The Moss catalog is the clearest to read, but they all have them online.

Yes...it's for your fuel line, but it is a clip inside a hole and will easily pop out. Save it for later, though. Graham is right, if it is on the right side. If it's on the left, then I think it was in the wrong hole, as the fuel line runs much farther forward on the left.

It is kinda a general clip, brake lines, fuel lines, od cable under the car, if it is a breather clip turn it 90. Those clips can be a pain. Like with the breather, put the clip next to the line and turn the clip onto the piece. Sometime popping the line into clip works also.
