What eye appeal do you want Frank? People are more familiar with the "Wedge" in the US, but the Stag ALWAYS turns heads.
Although I do not use my 1st Stag as a daily driver, it is used regularly, driving some 10-15 k miles a year. As soon as I finish some small mods, it will be used as my daily driver - replacing my XJ6 VDP as the wife wants that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Stags have room for 4, a removeable hard top for use in cold weather, and a better ride comfort than a TR8. The TR8 has a live axle, the Stag is all independent suspension.
So you get the best of both worlds with a Stag. Looks, comfort, handling, ride, performance, uniqueness in Triumphs - driving the car intended to be the Triumph Flagship.
And you get the best technical support for your Stag through the Triumph Stag Club USA. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif
But hey, I am biased /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gif
