This one is TS60851L and was built in 1959 but registered/titled as a 1960. I have 3 TR-3s, but only this one is at the house. The other two I think have red badges. I bought this particular car in 1966 or 67 as a total wreck from the high school shop teacher. Rebuilt it with parts from junk yards (the joy of being young, short on funds and having a simple car). I drove it until 1978, parked it and am now building it again. No telling what badge it had new but holes on this apron that could have come from anywhere are drilled for these letters. I probably have 4 or 5 aprons in addition to the ones on the cars. I have 1958 my father bought when we returned from Cuba in 1959. He was a navy pilot stationed in Cuba and when Castro over threw Batista the civilions came home because Castro shut of the fresh water supply and at the time de-salinization ships were not effiecient enought to produce fresh water for Navy personnel and all their famiies. This car is pure and has never been hit etc. I will restore it too someday but have a few projects before it. Next is probably a 1960 Porsche 356 or a 1963 Buick Wildcat I have stored. I want to do an XKE (I also have one of these in storage) but may put it off until I am retired.
