Towing a Sprite

Are those gauges original? They look like they're from a later year.

No, the entire dash will need to be reworked.

UHAUL full car carrier will work, i've used them to tow sprites. tell them you're towing a later mg midget and VOILA, the computer says it'll fit. my car never would've cleared the transition from the ramps to the flat bed area so i had to back the carrier up to a hill to decrease the ramp to bed angle.
good luck

Well, I can confirm that a 1960 bugeye fits on a Uhaul car trailer. They told me no when I tried to make the reservation. So I called back and told them I was hauling a 1969 TR6 and they said that would be OK. The track is wide enough. The ramps are spread a little wider and about 1" of each tire was hanging off the inside of the ramps. We were very careful and made it work.

I rented a U-Haul car dolly. It fit, but hung over about an inch. By all means..disconnect the drive shaft, I didn’t and after 480miles of towing I had to replace the trans.

I loaded my Sprite into the back of a uhaul truck on a move with the military. Once I got to the new location I just had a flatbed show up and pull it out and set it down in the driveway. The guy said it was the most interesting one he'd done.

I brought a Berkeley home in the back of my pickup!! Sure got lots of look's!

That’s a 1992 4x4 Toyota. I bought it with 45-K in 2003. I now have 260-k, still going strong. It has the 3.0 V-6, IMO, the old 4 cyl. 22-R is a better engine, but gutless. I did replace the air conditioning at about 200-K. Hard to beat these old Toyota trucks.
