I was looking at your mission statement and you cover all the Midget and B variations as well as the sedans but only the TD and not the TC? What's with that?
You gotta stop somewhere. If you include TC, then why not TB and TA? And since you're now going pre-war, why not P-Types? What about all the MMM cars? And the SVW cars? I assume Tony is mainly interested in the "modern" MGs.
Ah, I see where you were reading. Indeed, the TC is a post-war car. But I suppose since it was designed before the war, you could still consider it a pre-war car. The Y-Type was the first post-war design.
For Sale: Midget Mk II 1966, #GAN3 48305 was built in March of 1966. It is #1457 in the Midget Register (UK). I have owned the car since 1978 and it has traveled less than 10K miles. It is currently a restoration project and has lived in a dry garage since 1981. It is basically in good condition and is near the respray stage. It also needs front wings, bonnet, and the front panel assembly. I was always hoping to find a fiberglass front end instead of the original metal. This need for a front end is due to a pick-up truck trying to run the car over on a rainy day in 1992. I will never finish the restoration. This is your opportunity. Car plus many spares including new interior kit. $2,000 or best offer. Wish I had the time or the space. Please keep me posted. You don't come around them that often. I almost bid on one in Fla. about 6 years. ago. It was about $1100. Not many built if I recall. Hindsight is 20/20.
