Today's weather report...

Also they predict as the ice melts the water will cool the atmosphere therefore making it temporarily cooler.
Not my opinion just reporting the info.

Peter, I just finished throwing today's foot of snow. We live above a lake in So. NH on a west facing hill. 2 hours of wrestling with that much snow is ok now and then, but what looks like 3 days in a row is a bit much.
I figured you forgot something when the TR's didn't get listed with your summer vehicles. That makes it official, we're in winter mode.

Oh my aching back!

Oh my aching face, 25 below zero with the wind chill factored in today. Quite painful.......

Bill,

You guys were lucky according to BobbyD. We got about 8-9 more inches of snow than you did. And now it's getting very windy and very cold.

Y'all are some hearty souls, that's all I can say.
Think Spring.

That's what keep us truckin'. Sunshine and top down days.

Spring?! Who needs Spring? A guy I met here in Connecticut a few years ago was trying to reassemble his TR3A after a frame off. Since he was only 50 miles away, I told him I'd be right over so he could see what one was supposed to look like. It was December or January I think, but the roads were dry...perfect top down day! I left home mid afternoon with my down parka, heavy gloves, a blanket over my lap and of course, my mad bomber hat! Nice drive at 65-70 MPH. :nonod:

On my way home, however, it was quite dark. And VERY VERY cold! When I arrived home and got out of the car, I could barely stand, much less walk into the house without staggering like a drunken sailor, literally. I decided that that was a pretty stupid thing to have done. I might consider another jaunt around town in that weather, but an hour at highway speeds is (or could be) a killer! I am such a wuss!!

Hey Paul
I dont feel all that lucky, I had to shovel my driveway 3 times & as soon as I finished the last time, the plow came by and nailed the end of my driveway

Don't ya just hate when that happens? At least they gave me time to get back in the house and get all of my wet clothes off before plowing mine shut again.

I swear these guys hide in the trees with 2 way radios waiting for us dummies to get done shoveling and then they appear out of no where and in a flash, you're plowed in again and they are gone...............

Thanks...as for the avatar, I wish it was mine! My first car looked like that, but in 1967! That one's just a pic I found somewhere. My car is in a zillion pieces at the moment. :frown:

I'm about 15 miles east of Hartford.

As for the snowplow spotters, yep, yesterday I saw one up in a tree with binoculars and a cell phone.

minus 30 celcius here in Alberta.
that's -22F for you folks down south.
the TR6 aint going anywhere in the next few months!

Nice shot poolboy. I kinda remember what flowers look like. Y'all have a great lookin car. I think I can hear it.

I almost forgot.

The closest I get to driving in the winter half of the year is when I go out to the shop and smell the interior of the 3A. Like cake! The Audi TT also has an interesting smell, but much different from the Triumph. The shop instantly aquired the British car lives here smell so that's always uplifting when I work out there.

But for winter fun, the 'bota fits well.

Apparently, not everyone feels the same about snow as you do, Kodanja!....
Dog having a blast!

You gotta start thinking of the cup half full!

Bill-

I posted 2 photos over in the Pub for you and Deb.
That storm was the straw that broke the camel's back
and "forced" our move to PR.
