It depends on what you're going to do with them.
The 430 is sort of an all-season tire that gives long tread life and is a bit less sticky.
If you're doing a lot of driving in that car, especially in bad weather, they will be fine.
When I bought new tires for my Miata, I looked at those tires...for about 5 seconds.
And moved on to Yokohama ES-100s, which is a high performance summer tire with a shorter thread life but "stickier". Not so good in bad weather, but I don't care.
I don't drive the Miata much in the winter and anyway, I have dedicated all-season tires and wheels for it.
I just bought new tires for my MGB too. Sumitomo HTR 200s. I would have bought the Yoko ES-100s, but the Sumis are cheaper ($49 each). They're also heavier and a little harder, both slight negatives in terms of performance. I won't drive the B that much anyway. The Sumitomos are also summer tires with shorter thread life and not-so-great in bad weather.
On crummy days, I drive my minivan. :laugh:
