Not to long ago I think I remember finding a thread that gave a tip on removing the Brake Master Cylinder from the pedal box. I can't seem to find it in the list. Is the a tip to getting the bottom bolt off with out having to remove the pedal box?

Remove the cover plate, if you have one. then, remove the circlip from the clevis pin, remove the clevis pin and the 2 bolts that hold the mc to the pedal box. Disconnect the line and the mc should lift out.

For the second time now I read the title and think it has to be about a Japanese engine conversion since that's the only thing that I think could remove the British Motor Corporation (BMC) from the car - /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
