dizzy stayed put, but I wouldn't rule out timing.
I'm not going in the garage for a day or two Doc, I'm fried. If I go in there, it'll be to take them off, march 200m down the field, leave them on the edge of the creek and see if I can hit them in the from the back porch.
If I miss, I'll keep em, if I hit, webers it is.

Barry: If you're gonna stand down for a day or so, I am intent on goin' over to a friend's house and takin' photos of his Sprite linkage.
 
Doc -- I'd love to see those pictures. I took the SUs apart on my 74 without taking any pictures. Now, in my case, they seem to only go back together one way, but I could sure be wrong. Getting a definitive answer on how the linkage is supposed to work would be a really nice thing. One for the knowledge base.

I will be Doc, I'm coming down with something and am very tired. Friday I'll do a static timing, but I would appreciate another pic just to make 100% sure. I've fallen victim of blaming carbs for something they didn't do and will work on elect / ignition first.
I found my Chiltons (1974 edition) and the pics in there relate to what I have. Cheers!
