Hello all,
I just wanted to thank all the LBC'ers on this forum for the knowledge that you impart to others in our hobby. I have not posted very often during my years here, but have read this forum everyday. The answers to all of my questions have been found through searching other peoples problems. I finished the complete restoration of my 78 B this past summer and have enjoyed trouble free(knock on wood)cruising the last 4 months. When I bought my car the clutch was stuck as it had sat in a garage for the last 14 years, and I was not able to drive it till near the end of its restoration as it was unsafe. I did all the work myself except the bodywork and paint and my back still hurts from standing at the bead blast cabinet. I have posted a link to some before, during and after pictures of my B so those of you doing a restoration can see that there is light at the end of the tunnel. My car as all my cars are is not 100% origional because I believe in improvements, whether performance, safty or for just for looks. Thanks again for all the knowledge you impart to others in a friendly helpfull way, and yes the B shares garage space with a Triumph. The pictures are not in order, but please check them out. Thanks again. 78 MGB restoration picts
