TR6 Thoughts on Superchargers for a TR6

Still lookings for used SC, but no response why there is not a used SC in this present market? Thanks!

Oh wow, I'm having a flashback. I remember seeing the prototype installation in the Arkay shop back in 80'ish.

220-250 horsepower in a Triumph. You had better have some darn strong differential mounts and reinforced half shafts.

The weak Triumph frames were never designed well enough to accomodate the horsepower that the original power plants put out, much less 220-250 horsepower.

Good luck, and let us know what happens!

Perhaps the owners are smitten by them? Perhaps they work so well that there isn't any reason for someone to take them off? Perhaps because the Moss kit hasn't been on the market long enough for many used ones to be out there?

Not that I see a ton of 6's but we get a fair number of them at the local Cars n Coffee meets. I've only seen 1 SC installed in the wild over the last couple years. For the amount of money I've read people dumping into 6 airflow trying to make it breathe better and not producing all that much more power, it looks to me like the SC is the way to go on those motors. I keep a casual eye out for them and have yet to see a used one. There was a guy on ebay that was selling a kit that utilized the SC from the baby Mercedes (I think?) and a self supplied HS8 that was cheaper than the Moss kit but that's about all I've seen.
