The First Mate on a cruise ship noticed that,every time before they cast off,
the Captain would hurry to his cabin,unlock a drawer in his desk,& return.
When the Captain finally retired ( & handed over his keys to the First Mate-
who then became Captain,the first thing that the new Captain did was to run to
the cabin & open the desk.When he did,there was a piece of paper with two short
lines on it.It read............








"PORT is LEFT"

"STARBOARD is RIGHT"
