There is a prophylactic joke along the same lines… during the formation of the EU, member countries were debating the count per package. The Belgians wanted one, for Saturdays. The Italians wanted three, for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The French wanted seven in a package for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. To everyone’s astonishment, the Germans wanted 12. When asked why so many, they explained, January, February, …
