How many of us are 40+ and sport facial hair?!?!

Seems there are a LOT of LBC owners with beards.

Personally, I really hate ritual face scraping. That's MY excuse.

I shave once a week whether I need it or not!

Well, I'm one. I stopped shaving when I got out of the army in '70. I only shaved it off on one occasion...the day I got married. I immediately grew it back. Here's me driving and my buddy Dave, also an LBC fan, on my TR3's maiden voyage.

Edit: BTW, the goggles are made by Halcyon. The same company that made them for the RAF in WWII to the same specs. I got them from Aircraft Spruce.

Yeah, Art!! I stopped "shaving" about two days before discharge.

You two gentlemen look perfectly distinguished, BTW!

EDIT: An' tell Dave to join up here an' post!

I'm savin' that shot fer my collection. It needs submitting for th' Calendar, too!!!

Could Dave get that door closed?

Ease up Colonel... I saw you in that Midget engine bay. :jester:

Yeah, Dave's a big guy. I'm 6'2", about 210 lbs, but when I stand next to him, I feel tiny! Good thing I did engine mods on the TR so we could get the car moving with two lard butts in there. :hammer: Dave used to own a series 1 E-Type, but now has an XJ6.

My kids and my wife of 25 years have never seen me wif out a stash. Razor has never touch this top lip. EVER!
Tell the kids I came out with it.

Keep 'em comin'!!!!

Don't remember when I started my beard.
I trim it now and then...... When it gets too long and bushy
my wife says I need a trim because I look like a civil war vet.......
While in Egypt... women came up to me to ask about flight schedules,
once I opened my mouth and said "mam"....you would have thought I had the plague!!!
With a beard... you fit in almost anywhere... Ha Ha

Wonder what kind of car she drives?

Yep, I am a bearded one also. I just plain hate shaving. I have had a beard since I COULD have one. Once every five or six years I shave it off just for grins, but that is about it. It can be fun when people that you know try to figure out why you look different.

I started my mustache while I was still in college and have not shaved it off in the last forty years. My beard was off and on for a few years in the late ‘70s and permanent starting in the early ’80. My wife chose to have me bearded at our wedding. Our dog is a bearded collie, so maybe we have taken the facial hair to an extreme.

when my then girlfriend, later wife, saw me clean shaven for the first time she told me she would leave me if I ever did that again. Well, she left me anyway without any facial hair removal. Now their telling me if I ever want a date I'll probably need to shave. I guess I'm confused.
